I hadn't heard about this service at all, so I was quite pleased and surprised to learn about its history. The tour includes a short movie (~10 minutes) and the facility lot of pictures and equipment used by the service it's 70+ years of existence. This and the reptile centre across the street make for a pleasant 90 minute to two hour visit to learn more about the outback.
