“High Degree of Care”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

I met Richard recently when he called in to stay with us at Quorn Caravan Park on the last night of an Heysen Trail / Flinders Ranges trip. As a fellow tourism / hospitality operator, I was very impressed by Richard's professionalism and level of care shown to his guests. He is very personable and everyone enjoyed themselves - happy relaxed and were well catered.

“Larapinta Trail - World Expeditions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Great food, guides, camp sites and gear. Guides paced the group well, were knowledgeable, especially when asked about items of interest. Well organised. Leaders listened to walker's needs. Showers at the end of the day a great luxury. Felt very confident in the leadership. Highly recommended.

“walking, walking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2012

Pick out an easy stage first and try it out. Some parts are quite rough and trying. Certainly through the summer great care is needed as the heat can be a killer. Daylight starts with a good plan is required and let someone know where you should be and when. Through the winter and cooler months is the best time and take your time.

“Tassie Sisters Lynette and Karen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

My sister and I had the most enjoyable outback holiday you could of imagined on the 9 day trek Larapinta. Sleeping under the stars with the glowing moon gliding slowely overhead was a dream. Early in the morning a couple of dingos strolled on by just ignoring us as we sat and ate breakfast by the campfire. The campsite was gorgeous, white sand between our toes, tall white gums and sorrounding red mountains in the distant. The guides well what can I say they tended to all our needs from sunrise to sunset. They where very informative and had plenty of funny campfire stories to share with us. Watching the guides prepare our evening meals in the camp-ovens was a lesson in itself and yummy. We had a ball on the hikes, some may have found some places harder then others but we thought
it made it more adventurous and fun. Well the scenery is so beautiful with each days hike there was something unique, very special, spiritual and you get the feeling that it's a prehistorical land. We will be back!

Hello Lynette and Karen,
Thank you for taking the time to review your 9 day hike with Trek Larapinta. Even though it was a couple of years ago I remember walking section 3 with you and how excited you were by the stunning landscapes. We still consider the photos that you took on that trek to be some of the best images ever taken of the Larapinta...totally awesome!
I hope we can host you on another trek in the future.
Kind regards
Richard Mayne
