The centre is beautifully placed in keeping with the surrounding landscape. inside it provides informative and artistically displayed details of the history of the area and the aboriginal beliefs about its beginnings. I could have spent longer there!

Perhaps I visited on an "off" day. Other than a snaking mural explaining the Aboriginal culture and shops with very pricey Aboriginal art, this is, at best, a rest stop to buy pre-made sandwiches and sodas. We saw two women making dot paintings but there were no other cultural experiences.
