Well, its a wonderful place if you want to see aboriginal art and particularly the stunning work of Albert Namatjira. Mind you, there is much more. Its small and wont take long to visit but very well worth it.

The art displayed in this gallery is fabulous, but walk down the back and look at their information section and museum. It is absolutely outstanding and is not advertised. Keep walking to the back of the shop, it is so worth it.

This gallery has many pieces of indigenous art to look at and some are not badly priced but some are very expensive. If you want aboriginal art there are cheaper places to pick up good art which is just as good.
The people here were GREAT! So friendly and helpful despite me popping in and out about a million times, and really knowledgeable about local issues too.
Our guidebook said that there was a charge for the museum portion of this gallery, but it was free when we were there. Owner was extremely informative about the artwork in the gallery. Right on the main pedestrian mall so you cannot miss it. Well worth a visit.
Our Cultural Museum used to be much bigger a few years ago. We downsized in 2011 but decided to maintain a portion of the museum, free of charge to visitors, because we felt it was so important for people to learn about the Aboriginal culture.
