We did the Alice Springs to Uluru and back in one day tour. We paid something like $200 per person for it which, at the time of booking, I thought was quite steep but my mind was completely changed only a few hours into the trip (mind you, I didn't realise the drive from Alice Springs to Uluru would be 5 hours). I have never felt that I got more value for my money. Jason and Hugh were amazing. You could feel that this isn't just a job to them but that they're passionate about the outback and indigenous culture.
I would recommend this tour to anybody.

“Brilliant camping tour of the outback!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Lot of hiking around Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon etc. Great guide who cooked (Camel Burgers, Kangaroo Steaks, Vegemite …) , set up camp – took great care of us, and reminded us to drink water. (1 girl ignored this – with subsequent dehydration!!) A wealth of knowledge about the outback, and the indigenous tribes.
Old small bus – but grew to like it as the trip progressed – and in the end probably more fun that a so called “Luxury” tour. Would definitely do this again!!!

“Best bus trip I've ever been on”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

We did the long one day trip from Alice Springs to Uluru and back. I'm usually quite wary of one day "rush and see everything" trips but this one was excellent. Everything was well coordinated and smooth. We always had enough time to see things. The guides/drivers were super. Friendly, full of knowledge, and an eternal source of humor. The whole day was just WOW!

“Great 3 day/2 night Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon tour with George”
Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day tour. George, our tour guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable. The long journeys were broken up by George spotting camels, emus and a wedge tailed eagle at the side of the road.

The food over the 3 days was great and plenty of it. Enjoyed being able to try new things - camel burgers and kangaroo and making damper. Sweet snacks during our walks and fruit afterwards were well received.

The swags were very comfortable and clean.

The group was a good size and everyone helped out with cooking and washing up.

The whole 3 days was very well organised. The 4am starts are worth it for the spectacular views and for avoiding the midday heat. Note that the walks are pretty strenuous so be prepared.

Amazing sights at Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. Definitely recommend

“Kings Canyon, Kaku Tjuta, Olga's”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We went on a three day tour to Kings Canyon, Kaka Tjuta and Uluru. The tour was well organised. Scheduled, the tour guide is well informed and they provide good food. It's a great way to experience the (real) outback. I loved sleeping in the outback in our swags.

Our tourguide was Jason. He is a good tourguide. However, he has a personality that is always very present. As a tour guide it's not all about yourself (and your jokes). It is important to give other people the opportunity to be themselves.

Note: the tour is pretty intense. You wake up at four in the morning (to avoid the heath) and your condition must be pretty good.
