We stayed here on our way up to the Kimberly and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay there on the way back. We pulled up after a long days driving at around 6pm to discover we had just got 2 punctures and only one spare tyre, the man cleaning the room next to us came out after hearing my commotion and said"no problem Ill have a look for you" 2 hours later he returned after plugging both tyres and refused any money for it( I literally had to force him to take money from me).
We then went to get takeaway and were delighted to get great friendly service and awesome chilli burgers from the chef who actually came out to ask how hot we wanted them.(Our parents dinned in earlier and had wonderful lamb cutlets)
The only downer was some of the uptight coastal city tourists who should take lessons from the bush in respect and hospitality, I say this coming from the sunshine coast myself.

Keep up the good work

Had a powered grass site which was great. The toilets were nice and private but the showers were cold. The staff were very nice and loved to have a conversation with the guests. Cheap family accommodation for a camper trailer and lovely restaurant. The meals were lovely and quite cheap as well. A lovely place to stay with staff that couldn't of helped more.

We hired a powered site for one night for our camper van. Despite a late-ish arrival, securing a site went off without a hitch, and we had a pretty comfortable overnight stay. Showers and toilets are in self-contained cubicles, which is definitely a bonus. Facilities were reasonably clean too. We felt it was good value for money at $19.90 for two people per night. So far, so good.

The next day, we were up fairly early. My partner used the pool, then the showers, followed by breakfast. We were pretty tired from our travels up the Stuart Highway, so wanted to relax a little before heading off. My partner went off to clean his teeth around mid-morning, just before we hit the road again. He was accosted by a member of the cleaning staff just as he was about to use the facilities, and was asked if he was "from the camp". He misunderstood the question, and was basically accused of being a freeloader. When he realized his misunderstanding, he pointed out our camper van (a Britz van), indicating that we were, in fact, paying guests. Rather than apologizing, the woman simply changed her tactic, and started accusing him, (and all Britz van customers - yes ALL of them), of deliberately using the toilets and facilities at cleaning time! We can appreciate it might be a little frustrating sometimes if you want to get the job done, but really, the attitude was unnecessary, and left a sour taste as we left, spoiling our experience of what we otherwise thought was a pretty good camp facility.
