My husband and I booked into the oakroom restaurant and decided to stay the night as we live out of wagga.

Bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. Coffee cups were tiny and one bath towel was lovely and new the other need to be put in the rag bin.

Great central cbd location but not the best nights sleep I have ever had. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbour's. The lift sounds like it's on its way out.

Had a 3 night stay here recently and i was generally happy. It is very central in Wagga and 100 mtrs to the main street. There is a great shopping centre across the road and a pool/aquatic centre and gym on the other corner...Great location. The good stuff first, the staff were very welcoming and very helpful with any requests, very clean and generally comfortable rooms but a little dated. The beds in our 2 room unit were great with one being as good as i have found anywhere (the other a little more basic). The shower was decent and the tv had some fox channels with the free to air and both areas in our room had aircond (not needed due to room position and central building aircon). It has got free wireless internet which was easy to access, a very small elevator and what appears to be one of the better restaurants in Wagga. Not really cheap but it was busy each night we were there (we did things on the cheap so didnt eat here) so must be worth the money.
Now the nit picking, The room was in need of some maintanance....the shower screen (shower over bath with fixed half screen) was quite lose and moved every time it was bumped while showering, it actually had the screws coming out of the wall!! A couple of the cupboard doors had broken hinges and you needed to hold them up while opening and closing them but the worst part was that the room we had had no external windows?? The windows opened onto a corridor with other rooms opposite, it was noisy when others were using this corridor and we could not get any fresh air, the room was a bit stuffy and too warm of a night due to the motel central aircon being very warm(tried to cool it with the air con but the cool draft made it too cool, couldnt get it comfortable). Parking is off street with limited spaces, we had to park 5 metres away on the street one night so not a huge issue at all if the carpark is full.I would stay again but would request a room on the outside of the building as overall the cleanliness and good beds make for a decent stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the outside of the building for fresh air....even in winter.

From its modern designed rooms to its fast internet and friendly staff, my stay at the Townhouse has been a complete delight. Located in the heart of Wagga city Townhouse hotel is perfectly located weather your in wagga for a relaxing break or a working stay. I highly encourage all those visiting the wagga region to visit the hotel and its adjoined restaurant The Oak Room.

I travel around Victoria and NSW for business and I must say the staff at the Townhouse are friendly and experienced. Its nice to walk in after being away for some time and be greeted by your first name.
Nothing is too much trouble and the restraunt serves up a wide variety of food that would put some of Melbourne's best restraunts to shame.
Wine choice is great and the atmosphere with the elfresco outdoor-indoor area is a big draw card. The quality of the food is such that the restraunt is frequented by locals on a regular basis.
Rooms are comfortable and modern and you have a variety to choose from.
They also include wireless internet that is a godsend for work.

I told them I'd be a late check in on Sunday night after a flight from Sydney. They had a warm pizza ready for me to eat on arrival, delicious, thank you! Great room and comfy bed, Comfortable desk and chair for doing some work on the laptop. Bircher muesli and other cereals with fresh fruit or excellent hot meal choice for breakfast, At breakfast they offered to make me a great espresso coffee without me asking. Second night just as good.

I have stayed at this Motel once before and the service was excellent. I stayed a second time and there was no change to the service provided. The staff are friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Price is a little higher than some of the other Hotels but then again the standard of accomodation is also higher. Also very central to the main shopping areas of Wagga

Reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a spa room, very spacious and comfortable, large windows over looking the car-park. Hotel is in a great location, handy for walking around the town. Nice wine list and room service meal was very nice. breakfast was great, lots of choices. The restaurant menu looked enticing , though due to social commitments we were unable to sample the delights this visit. Just make sure you get aroom with an outside window as some of the rooms look out onto the hall way. All in all a great stay and would recommend the Townhouse hotel if you are ever staying in Wagga.

Room Tip: they have rooms where the windows look out onto the inside hall way, double check that you have an...
