Everything you'd expect from a main street bakery and nothing more. We went there on a recommendation, we spoke to them sternly when we got back...

Mick’s Bakehouse is really an old fashioned bakery with superb choices (good for you or not)!
We just stumbled on it in the main shopping street at lunchtime looking for a decent sandwich or a hot pie.

It doesn't look much from the outside but as we looked through the window the crowds told a different story. There is seating aplenty downstairs or upstairs however it was so popular we had trouble getting seats for a family.

The different items to eat were divided into a few sections with hot pastry items (many awards) down one end of the long counter, sandwiches, rolls and fillings down the other with cakes and other sweets items in between.Across from that and separate again was a drinks, gelato and espresso island.

The service was efficient with so many lining up and enough staff to keep the whole thing flowing along.
The costs were generally good for the quality overall and it was very hard to choose given the number of things available. Our table had pies, sandwiches, yummy cakes, thick shakes, milkshakes and espresso and we kept looking at each other’s selection(they all looked so good).

Call in if in Wagga and you won't be disappointed with the quality or choice for the money (also one in Leeton).

Enjoy your visit!
