Very good value. Yes it is dated and the rooms could do with some TLC. But for $55 per night (Through WOTIF) then I think it is great value. For this price you get a hot shower, Air conditioning and a comfortable bed. If you want all the bells and whistles then this is probaly not the motel for you. If you just want somwhere to sleep then it is perfect.

Because of the NSW Open in Wagga Wagga, most motels had no vacancy unless we were prepared to spend over $160. After booking a 3 star queen room @ $65 with Wotif, we were horrified to read the bad reviews. However, on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was dated but clean, the reverse cycle airconditioning worked (with a bit of humming), there was a sorry looking old fridge (but again worked), loads of storage and hanging space, the hot water shower came on quickly and they even provided a new small plasma tv. We had an average supply of tea (Lipton) and coffee (Brussels) with 2 clean mugs and 2 wrapped glasses in the fridge (smurfette 12 said they got hair and food particles in their mug so we bought our own but didn't have to use them). It wasn't as noisy as people suggested (may be because our room was in the centre row at the back) so we actually got a good night sleep. With an average of $125-$150 per night in Wagga Wagga and only 10 minutes from town, we thought we did get great value for money. After all, where could you find $60-$70 rooms these days and what do you expect for that kind of money?

Room Tip: The queen room we had was rated as 3 star while the rest of the rooms are 2.5 star so may be stick w...

They close this place and re-open it as a set in a horror movie. The only heating in the room is a 1970's wall single bar heater that wasn't even worth turning on. The only 'kitchen' facilities available are a $10 kettle that has to be filled up in the leaky bathroom sink using a dirty coffee cup. A tip bring your own coffee the mud offered in the room nearly made me gag. For the price I expected a little more. Next time I will sleep in the car!

Built in the 50's or 60's and in desperate need of renovation. We arrived on a cold night where the overnight temperature dropped to -0.4 degrees celsius and the heater provided, did nothing to warm us even after 9 hours of operation! So the search for extra blankets was on and only to find nothing.

The bathroom: Every time I used the basin, my socks and shoes would be soaked from the leaking pipes underneath the basin. Toilet roll holder was rusty, tiles in the bathroom were broken and the shower screens were very dirty. And the bathroom exhaust fan kept switching itself on and off all night long!!

And the worst part was turning over a mug to make my morning coffee only to find a hair and food particles stuck to the inside. Yuck!!

I can't complain about the price though but kept telling myself a backpackers hostel may have been a better option. If your only concern is to throw yourself down for a night, then this place might be ideal for you but I can certainly say I've stayed in many motels for the same price and this would have to be the worst one of all.
