We booked this restaurant for dinner on perhaps one of the busiest night of the year in the Rocks area being the last night of the Vivid light festival. Think New Years eve type crowds. I only booked 24hours in advance through the dimmi booking engine.

Inadvertently, I booked for two people and not four as I should have.

As soon as the booking went through I realised and couldn't change it so I rang the restaurant directly and added the extra two. No problem!
Until we showed up and the adjustment hadn't been made, some quick table rearranging and we were accommodated on the verandah.
We were lucky to get this table, as during the course of our time at least 15 groups were turned away. It was annoying as the verandah is very narrow and each time my mother and I would have to move our chairs to let people past. Firstly when they came up, and then when they had to leave.

We wished they would put a sign at the bottom of the stairs to say booked tables only.

There were two specials of the day $30 with a glass of wine, the ladies had grilled barramundi and the men had rump steak with pepper sauce. All meals were delicious.
Service was a little slow, but it was an extremely busy night. From all accounts I don't think anyone was expecting crowds of this level in the area on this night. We certainly weren't.

Atmosphere was beautiful although no live music as it was Sunday night, I had hoped that being a long weekend this would be an exception.

We thought it was great value, and a lovely evening was had by all.

Second time at this cafe. First time in jan 2012. Found it again hidden in the rocks. Beautiful food - loved sitting on the little balcony. Beautiful surroundings. Will be back.

We had breakfast here and were the first people to step in that day as the menu read well and it looked nice. Also the place next was busy but all the seating was inside whereas we could sit on the balcony here. I had the eggs benedict which was nicely cooked. Good coffee and service.

We found this restaurant after realizing that our favorite breakfast haunt on the Rocks had closed for business. The weather was nice so we could sit outside on the tiny balcony which was nice. Service was extremely slow because they were seriously understaffed for a busy Sunday morning. Australia is famous for its 'brekkies' but this one failed the test. Portions of the scrambled eggs were really small according to our young children. Big slices of bread though slathered in butter/oil. One of us ordered pancakes, it was actually one pancake that almost had the shape of a balloon and was not pleasant at all. No fresh orange juice!
