I joined a weaving class in Redfern at Eora TAFE on Saturday afternoon; it was great to learn something new and learn from the facilitator the historic roles of women in community... I've brought home some twine and I am making my own dilly bag! Thank you for the opportunity.

An outstanding experience of culture led by the welcoming and knowledgeable Uncle Tim. It was great to hear the stories of the Dreaming with those of first contact (British and French) and be in the space that has been part of Aboriginal lives for over 6000 years...what a blessing!

As an Aboriginal and South sea Islander man it was great to be able to hear the stories of the local mob here in Sydney. Aunty Margaret is a powerful tour guide who is able to allow you to get into a deep insight into how the Sydney harbour would have been traditionally

This is a Must Do for visitors to Sydney interested in learning about the first people in Australia, our Aboriginals. This is a non-political and fascinating explanation of the connections and commonalities betweens Australians and Aboriginal Australians both in the early days and present day. The Aboriginal culture, the family structures, the relationship with the land including the role of custodianship and the ancient spirituality are just some of the topics covered. You will come away with an entirely new way of looking at nature and its inclusive role even in the urban development of a large city like Sydney. It is suitable for for all: families, groups of friends and solo.
