Description: Our menu is based on the famed Taiwanese Night Street Markets, with a creative Japanese streak & a hot lick of Sichuan Pepper. Mamasans' Gemma was born in a remote Taiwanese fishing village & grew up in Japan before coming to Australia. Australian food culture is too young to have it’s own national cuisine - but there is no denying our love Asian food!

I like the idea and the concept. The food was good but the serves were tiny particularly when considering the price. The menu is a bit random - think buffalo chicken wings paired with sashimi as an entree. Wine was expensive. Nice venue. Good service. Unfortunately left quite hungry with a hefty bill.

Shocking! Tiny portions redicously overpriced simply rip off. Waiter served the wine holding the finger inside the glass, served in water glass for $14.Make sure you eat before you go there. Octopus was 1 small piece, don’t get disillusioned by a fancy descriptions as what you read in the menu you won’t get, $153 later you will walk out hungry and disappointed.

A work friend and I dropped in as we saw the lovely “happy hour” sign!

We decided to go upstairs to the funky warm flower ceiling area where we were served quickly.

We ordered the $10 cocktail happy hour - lychee sour which was the best. And we ordered prawn and scallop dumplings ($8 per serve of 4) and they were the BEST!!!!

While scallops and prawns were in then and they were fresh and delicious! Also as part of the happy hour special we had 3 dumplings and 4 cocktails and 2 wines for $78!!!

It was great and amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
