Had a fabulous tasty authentic Chinese meal here - quick efficient service, yummy food and it didn't break the bank either!

Was here with my family for some Chinese food after having a tad too much western food. We ordered typical dim sum dishes like cha siew bao (bbq pork bun), siew mai, chee Cheong fun and egg tart. The egg tarts were particularly delicious! I have high expectations for egg tarts usually and this one certainly was one of the better ones I tried (albeit being a tad oily). The staff were all speaking in tones giving the place a very Hong Kong feel. Overall a decent place for dim sum. Do try the egg tart though!

Our experience was dinner for 2. The decor is tired and rundown which I don't mind if the food is good...table and utensils were clean and tidy. You can view the menu before you enter so you know the prices up front...a bit pricey but again, willing to pay for good food. Happily, the servings were generous and tasty and service was friendly and satisfactory. No major complaints but no ecstatic raves either.

This is a traditional yum cha place, good for brunch, but all the action is over by 3pm. A lot of seafood based dumplings. Not the place if you don't like seafood. Pineapple crepes are good. We had a private room but this does not let you feel the vibe in the place and I think you only see a bit of what is on offer. About the same as most Yum Cha places in Sydney's chinatown. Has been there a long time. Price about $22 each with a beer.

ok, i have been going here since i was a child. i still come here on average once a week for yum cha. the dumplings are fantastic, flavoursome...delicious. the service is consistently pretty good, and the trolley waitresses friendly. there is little or no MSG in the food, i know this as i am particularly sensitive to it and am not affected after eating here. i always bring friends here for yum cha
