Description: Welcome to La Renaissance! We are one of Sydney's oldest family-owned French patisseries, and the first in the Southern Hemisphere to be awarded the prestigious Relais Desserts status with our head chef and co-owner Jean Michel Raynaud. Each morning we serving fresh buttery pastries, hot coffee & tea, juice, savouries and cakes every day. A great place to recharge and relax if you're new to Sydney and exploring Circular Quay and The Rocks, or a favourite for locals. Our best-selling items include almond croissants and the Monet, a white chocolate mousse cake with lychee jelly, raspberries and coconut base. Cult favourite, the ham and cheese croissant, sells out daily as well, with a shredded ham & cheese bechamel inside and on top of the croissant. Baked until crisp but still a little soft inside... we say yes please!

We had a mostly ok visit, despite counter taking an order for lactose free coffee and receiving one which was not. The wait staff was quite exasperated - not out or fault.
Tried a hot ham and cheese croissant, which was ok, but not great. Tried a selection of danishes and cinnamon scroll - all were fine, one was great. Overall, an ok visit.

There is good food available in this restaurant. Me and my friends went there for breakfast and we enjoyed lots there. There is buffe system and also we enjoyed. The food was very tasty. I want to go again there another time to enjoy there.

We love this little peaceful gem in the middle of the Rocks. Scrumptious pastries and cakes, great coffee and always service with a smile.

Expect a slight queue as locals grab lunch but it is worth the wait. Lovely range of cakes and filled rolls. Coffee brought to outside table by charming staff. Colourful birds loiter with intent.
A great little oasis in the Rocks

Hubby and I had a lovely quiche, the coffee was fantastic and the service was really good. If in the area do drop in you won’t be disappointed.
