Unlike the 5 star hotel next door this place was ‘unfriendly’ for want of a better word. The food was devine, perhaps not for our benefit, but for the art of cooking seafood itself. I can thoroughly recommend the ocean trout tartare, oysters, whiting and market fish of the day.
The staff tried a little but generally the establishment made us feel unwelcome and we couldn’t wait to pay up and go. An air of pretentiousness perhaps, looking down of noses, hurrying us along to order, an awkward table in the walkway....
2.5 courses for a couple approx $260.
