We had a fantastic meal here recently. We went with the calamari and rabbit has for entree. The rabbit was certainly the stand out of the two, but I enjoyed my calamari immensely as well. For mains it was the lamb and the beef. Both were excellent. The absolute highlight for us was dessert. We could not decide between the desserts and so went with the sharing plate. A brilliant move on our part as we got to try 3 different desserts, all of which were superb.
The service was perfect. It was attentive without being too 'in your face', and there was no hard sell. When we asked about sides with our meals, the waitress told us that the serves are generous, and so unless we were very hungry, one side would suffice. And she was right - we would have wasted a side dish if we had ordered two.
I have no hesitation in eating here again, and plan to do so as soon as we can organise another night off from the kids!
