We were recommended by several friends in Sydney to try out Longrain for its delectable modern thai food. We went on the last day of our trip to Sydney and got a table straight away since it was so early (around 6pm). We were sat at this very hip long communal table and given the menus. The service was friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended a few dishes and took note of my food intolerances. Our food came and everything was good, but not outstanding. The only down side of the service was the our drinks took forever to arrive (half way through our mains!) and mine was way too sweet. It was some lemograss concoction. I'd go there once just to try out it out but I wouldn't really return for the food.
