Over-priced ordinary food, waiters who up-sell. Surely their are crabs in Sydney less than 1.5 kg
Save your money and fly Tiger to Singapore instead

I am from Singapore, and thought I would try Harry's SINGAPORE chilli crabs. Not only was it the most expensive crabs I've ever eaten, it was the worst.
The worst hawker centres in Singapore serve better-tasting crabs than here, and at a fraction of the price.
We had the chilli crab and a pepper crab, and a kangkong dish, and they were all terribly cooked. The chilli sauce was thick and glucky, the crab tasted nothing like the 'Singapore Chilli Crab' it boasted on their advertising and the kangkong was fibrous and tasted raw.

What annoyed us even further was the underhanded ways the waiters used. At least twice during our meals, a waiter would come up with a basket of roti and offered them to us, in such a way that made us think that it was complimentary.

But no, we were charged for the roti that we didn't even want to order in the first place.

All up, the bill came up to be nearly $200 for 2 people! I suggest Harry and his cooks go to Singapore and take a few cooking lessons from the hawkers over there.

This place is ridiculously overpriced - they charged us $180 AUD for ONE chilli crab. We got the recommendation from our hotel concierge to go to Harry's for good crab. The restaurant is in an unassuming building, above a bar. Upon arriving, we were shown to a table right by the bathrooms even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Then the waiter threw on a table cloth that has holes in it. We got the menu which had a lot of pictures of the crabs but didn't say anything about the price. The crab was a "mud crab" from Queensland and it wasn't bad. Then the bill came. It was $75/kg. The crab the 2 of us ate was 2.4 kg, which made the price for the crab alone to be $180!!!
