“All dishes were tasty and consistently good service”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

Went there for lunch on Friday 24/5/13 with a couple of friends. The restaurant was full, so keep that in mind and definately book. All the food served was tasty and the service was great. All this and the restaurant was full to capacity. I was very impressed. Given the surrounding restaurants had limited patrons, it tells the story. A restaurant worth visiting whilst in Sydney.

“Great views, great food, great value!”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We visited China doll on mothers day, it is in a great location with lovely views over the wharf. We ordered from the banquet menu, each course was beautifull and the price was very reasonable.

“A fabulous taste of the Orient”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

What a great setting!!! A beautiful night on the wharf, great banquet selection, even if a few of our party commented they thought the Salt & Pepper squid was a tad too hot and spicy, suited me, so I devoured it gladly, washed down by a long neck TsingTao beer, heaven. The Gov. General was seated behind us, so if she likes it , must be okay!
do it!

“Modern take on Chinese”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Very busy restaurant but very good service; pleasant evening, sitting outside looking at the city skyline. Food lovely-duck pancakes (Peking duck) were great-8 in a serve. Fish curry with okra & eggplant was delicious. Prices more than your average Chinese in the suburbs but for a good reason-this place is classy & worth a return trip.

“An all-round great great experience”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Located on the wharf at Woolloomooloo, this is a lovely place to enjoy lunch. I had a set menu, as I was there with a large group. There was a great range of food, and more than enough to go around. They also took such good care to accommodate for different food allergies/intolerances and preferences, and provided "real" alternatives, rather than the usual risotto (not that there's anything wrong with risotto).
I did get to try one, but the cocktails also sounded and looked amazing!
Would definitely recommend trying China Doll.
