“Good for quick visit to see Aussie favourites!”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

We found Wild Life to be a good "zoo" to see our Aussie favourites - koalas, kangaroos and wombats. Don't visit expecting to see animals other than our natives (except bees?) -Taronga Zoo is where you will need to go for them! Wild Life is very good if you have young children or only a short time to visit as it can easily be seen in a few hours. Other animals include Rex the crocodile, cassowary, lizards, snakes, all sorts of bugs and an improved nocturnal section with possums, bats and bilbys!
You can save money on admission by combining entry with Sydney Aquarium and/or Madame Tussaud's museum.

“Amazing what they fit in there”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a great attraction to get a feel for the Australian wildlife. A good all round assortment of animals and reptiles. Would have liked to have seen more birds, but I guess space is pretty limited.
Well worth a look.

“Good way to spend a few rainy hours”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We only had a couple of days during a business trip & had wanted to go to Taronga Zoo, however a rainy day changed our plans. This was a good alternative with exhibits being able to be viewed whilst being inside or undercover. The staff were all friendly and informative. Biggest croc we have ever seen with a underwater viewing tank for when he gets in the water. Keeper talks throughout the day. Did a combo deal with sea life aquarium....great way to pass a few hours at a reasonable price.

“Here on business and want ot see the wilflife?”

Great for visitors with very little time and who want a taste of Australian wildlife. A remarkable display is housed in a small area, with the koalas on the roof!

“Just go to Taronga Zoo”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Quite simply go to Taronga Zoo. This is not a good environment for animals and why see Australia's native species in enclosures when you can see them in the far more splendid spectacle and thoroughly modernised Taronga.
