The (Emirates) Australian Open is here again. I love this annual pilgrimage to the game of golf, although I'm not now a golfer? Yeah it's the golf, buts its more; the venue/course is fantastic(espicially after the rain) and obvious hard work of experts(green thumbs), lots of money spent to make this premier event run smooth, friends make the day(I wouldn't go by myself but obviously there are golfnuts who do), blue skies, 'I like to watch' & sometimes it's the golf!
Things to make it easier: buy tickets online, get a limo door to door(yeah it's only once per year), read some history of the club/course, either take lots of money or don't drink... take lots of money! Follow big name groups(obvious), hang over the barrier at a tee(smile for the camera), then camp at a green and let 'em come to you. GO during the working week on either Thursday or Friday unless you want to compete with a 'bag overloaded with balls' *attempt at golf humour!
