We really enjoyed our stay at Springfield Logde. The room was basic and very clean, the ensuite is small but well cleaned, fine for us. The location is great, close to Kings Cross station and very central to CBD. The front desk staff always wellcoming, helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again !

Room Tip: Higher floors and rooms away from the lift.

Staying at Springfield Lodge made our holiday great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was ample living space. The building has great character with its historical look. Staff members were extremely friendly and helpful with an always-welcoming smile. The hotel is in a great, central location. We'll be back!!

The location is great. Near Kings Cross Station. Also a 25min walk to the Opera House along the harbour. Great food places and near major bus routes.

Outside noise a problem. Garbage trucks Mon-thurs at 6am. Even the crows conspired against us at 5am (trees are close). We bought ear plugs for the 5am start to the day.

Had a king-sized bed and the room was fine.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here! We went down as a small getaway to see Sydney after scoring some cheap flights and was really happy with the Springfield Lodge.

Although hesitant at first simply because of the "Kings Cross" reputation, the Lodge was in a quiet street away from the main 'strip'. Every morning we could walk out past the lovely restaurant that resides at the threshold and turn a different way and explore the unbelievably good cafes and bars around. The train station was only a 2 minute walk and we were directly in the city or on our way to Bondi Beach.

The room although a little bit small was enough for the 2 of us to sleep comfortably for 5 nights with clean towels and a mad bed welcoming us each time we came back. Be prepared for a bit of a small bathroom, its basically for the essentials and not for a spa bath.

All in all, the people were lovely there and the kitchen facilities were great. You always feel welcomed whenever you walk through the doors. And ps, they have a hairdryer at the front desk so just ask if your room doesn't have one!

Room Tip: Make sure your rooms are not near the elevator or basement, you can ask for street view but just mak...

Basically, it's the room in the pictures on the website so it was exactly as expected except for the floor. A beautiful room, with heaps of natural light, and plenty of space.
Cleaning was everyday of stay.
Location is perfect with trains, taxis, bus, and easy walking to Oxford St, and the CBD if you feel like a slightly longer walk.
wifi is chargeable. is not convenience for tourist.
Staff during the day were helpful.
Overall, I'll be staying again.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights while travelling Australia. Checkin was quick and easy, room was Huge! We went for the do not disturb deal and really would recommend. The only downside of the room was that we were next to the lift so could sometimes be noisy. Kitchen ans washing facilities were very good and helpful if u are travelling for a while. Supermarket opposite hotel to gets bits and bobs. 2 mins walk from kings cross station where there's are trains into city every 2 minutes. We got a week ticket and was well worth it, only downside is hotel close to some dingy bars with not very pleasant people on. We had no trouble with this but could be off putting for families . All in all a top stay

This is not a 3 star hotel at all, just very basic B&B. Rooms are very small, with the bed occupying 80% of the room space. The bathroom appliances are cheap and in need of fixing or rennovation. Bathroom id extremely small, a bigger person won't even be able to get in there. My room had a very small window, so it was very dark and gloomy. There is no free WiFi, so add extra 10 AUD per day. Stuff is generally helpful. Wouldn't recommend this hotelat all, there's tons of better hotels in the Kings Cross neighborhood.
