Owner description: Circular Quay is a colorful port where ferries and cruise ships board and depart, and boat watching can be as good a pastime as people watching. While street performers entertain outside, those wanting a more cultural experience can head into the Museum of Contemporary Art where a sculpture garden on the roof is as much a view as the waterways below.

Very impressed with this whole area (the Rocks, the Opera House, etc.) Make sure you take the boat tours from Circular Quay for great picture opportunities. (I took the coffee tour from Captain Cook - lovely and beautiful scenic ride with very nice live commentary) Enjoy Sydney!

What a fantastic place to walk around and take in the sights of the harbour. Walk from the overseas terminal to the opera house is great, buskers to watch shops to browse and sights to see. Take the time to walk right around the opera house to the man o war steps and take in the view up the harbour. I chose to sit out near the opera house facing the harbour bridge for a while and just watch the world go by. I always visit her when in Sydney and never get tired of the walk and the views. Fantastic!

Not normally my favourite part of Sydney - on one hand it is a hub with the ferry terminals, train station and nearby Harbour Bridge and Opera House but on the other hand, the Cahill Expressway has changed the beauty of it.
However VIVID has brought it to life in the most wonderful way - - the colour and light show has brought out the best of Sydney and the Quay has been the centre of it all.
