Its a great walk with Ferries at both ends. What is not to like.
Cremorne side is dotted with private housed that used to be bed and breakfast and retreat establishments before the Sydney Harbour Bridge made access super easy.

Its a nice walk with a public free Salt Water Pool with the best views in Sydney.

The Mosman side is just as good

I would actually Go to Kurrabba Whard in Neutral bay and walk up the steps to Shell Cove road and then onto Honda St. where you can find the Beginning of the walk. if you go to Cremorene wharf its half done. (the walk that is)

The distance from Kurrabba to Walking Track head is about 15 minutes at normal pace along not busy roads with a footpath.

Its lovely on the good weather days.

Whilst this walk is beautiful, we took to it after Christmas Day Dinner and in the heat with full tummies it became a struggle and wasn't completed. Ensure you take walking shoes, a camera, water, a light picnic and spend the day enjoying the walk. On a hot day it is really hot so ensure you do so prepared.
