It’s a long walk out through the Botanic Gardens but with beautiful scenery and a great view once you get to the end. Read the history on Mrs Macquarie’s chair and see great Harbour views including Fort Denison and the Navy vessels. To the left of this you can see both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Most excellent views of the harbor and CBD in the near distance. Very photogenic. A few steps along the headland brings you to rocky cliffs, the site of many suicides. Live security cameras monitor the area.

Located between Garden Island and the Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair is perched on a headland with impressive 180 degree views of the harbour. If heading from the Botanic Gardens, it is a short walk and well worth the extra metres. On a sunny morning, the views of the harbour are sensational. The view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House is stunning. Don’t forget your camera.

This place is adjacent to the Royal Botanical Garden. It has great views of the harbor, Harbour Bridge and the Opera house. It may get a bit crowded by tourists.
Worth of visiting if you are visiting the botanical garden.

You must walk for a long time from Royal Botanical Gardens, but it is good! For exercise, and see another view of sydney opera. In addition, Royal Botanical Gardens is valuable to go!
