We went to see a performance of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Great show! A good laugh. The theatre itself is comfortable, and the actors voices carried well. The surrounding streets are filled with interesting restaurants for pre- or post- show meals.

Having been a subscriber for around 25 years, I understand the need to get my new season ticket application forms in as quickly as possible and this has always been beneficial. This year I took the forms in personally on Thursday 19 Sept - just two days after they opened only to find it impossible to get some of my first choices or to only get seats much further back than I like and usually got. There was talk to provide a special option for 11 year subscribers but nothing has come of this. Finding it hard to believe so many tickets "went" on the first two days, I can only assume that there is a lot going to sponsors and their employees. I understand the need for sponsors but companies like this need to show some loyalty to their long time supporters as well.

i have been an annual subscriber to the STC for some years. In the last season I saw Maids with Cate Blanchett - it was terrific. Hugo Weaving appeared in Les Liaisons Dangereuse with Pamela Rabe and it was sensational. There's always somethng interesting happening. I'm looking forward to The Wharf Revue in the near future. It should be very funny and topical with Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe and Phil Scott. If attending at STC for the first time, be sure to check which of its 3 theatres is hosting your show. The main STC theatre in housed in an old bond store, the Wharf 1 and Wharf 2 theatres are over the road at Pier 4.

With Toby Schmitz and Tim Minchin leading a wonderful ensemble cast, this was a theatre treat. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after by friendly cloak room staff and browsed Gleebooks in the foyer. The theatrical performances were wonderful and the atmosphere of the night was great.

We saw the recent production of Storm Boy with the family (2 teens 2 adults). Great staging at the faboulous Wharf theatre. Suitable for the whole family. The cast including the wonderful Rory Potter were great, a really good production!
