“must do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

the whole precinct is a must visit just to savour the sights, sound and atmosphere. Take time to sit on the grassy know at the rocks end, walk along under the subway bridge and enjoy the buskers and people moving about doing their daily routine, teas at the operat house café and walk off the calories in the gardens

“Suprisingly peaceful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

Given that the Botantic Gardens are right next to Sydney CBD you could almost be forgiven that your in a village park. It was nice to get away from the hectic city streets for a while and its a great way to see the Opera House and Bridge without people walking into your photos

“Meander a little”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014

Having done this walk many times, I can't recommend it enough. On a fine day or even a not so fine day, the sights, sounds and smells of the harbour, the bridge, the SOH, through the Botanic Gardens to the Seat, is gentle, you can do it at your own pace, and then meander through the Gardens. My favourites are the Herb Garden, and the beautiful Rose Gardens, where my brother was married. Then grab a coffee at the Cafe in the Gardens, then turn right and tackle the hill to find the Art Gallery and Museum up on the ridge. A great way to spend a day in the City.

Great harbour views and a peacefull oasis away from the bustle of the hourbour. Its a short easy stroll but most people seem to miss it.

“Bring your camera, a picnic, and your loved ones.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014 via mobile

There are no words to describe the beauty of the Botanical Gardens. Make sure that you have a memory card large enough for your shooting.

I'd highly recommend bringing a picnic and spending time with your significant other or family. The rose garden in the shade of hundred year old trees is something to see first hand and enjoy.
