“A millon dollar view at every turn.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

On a not too hot day and when it is not raining this has to be one of the best walks in the world. We once did it from Woolloomooloo to the Opera House when we were due at the opera and we arrived out of breath after the gate was locked. Fortunately work was going on at the side and a quick dash up into the Domain and out a side gate got us to the opera just on time. That was some years ago and I see some changes at the gates that may allow late walkers egress! We walked in the opposite direction this time and through the Botanics to Woolloomooloo and it was wonderful The harbour sights are always fascinating and some (though not all....) of the joggers add to the beauty of the scenery so it is worth a dawdle to take all this in.

“Love the Botanical Gardens”

The Gardens are a beautiful oasis of calm in the middle of the frantic City, a perfect spot for a walk or a run. Lovely stretch alongside the Harbour which is scenic and with lovely breezes.

“A stroll in the Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

Most tourists would do this walk, it takes in the Opera House and continues on into the Botanically Gardens which are worth a visit, if the walk is too much for you they have a little train you can sit on and be taken around the gardens and listen to the driver's commentary.

“Beautiful Sydney”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2014

Brilliant to walk or burn a few calories. I regularly run between the Opera House and Potts Point on the Botanic Garden Walk. The paths are very well maintained and are designed for the sedate or more energetic minded. Trees are abundant as is seating and maintained grassed areas. Worth the visit.
