“LOVED IT!!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

I really enjoyed walking through the magical botanical gardens! They are not open all the time, so check the times before you go. The views of the harbor are magical, and I stopped many times to take pictures. It's also a great place for a picnic, jog, or just to sit and relax. Simply stunning!

“Very gentle, but great views of harbour”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

This was a really nice walk, not too much in the way of botanicals, but excellent views of Sydney and the Harbour.

just lovely views and very inviting. The opera house is dated but still somehow manages to impress you.

“Best view of Sydney”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Though I've been to Sydney many times, I walked from the Opera House to Woolloomooloo for the first time last weekend. The weather was perfect, which certainly helped make the walk so enjoyable. But the view of the Bridge and Opera House from Mrs Macquaries Chair, which was at the halfway mark, was a real highlight. It wasn't a difficult walk, and could certainly be undertaken by someone with a pram, young children or older people. My only regret was that we did the walk a bit too early in the day, as we didn't feel like eating one of the famous pies at 'Harry's', despite the fact that they looked amazing. My only advice is make sure you have a plan once you reach Woolloomooloo, as we were at a bit of a loss as to what we should do after we arrived.
