This was an excellent tour on a 4-wheel drive small bus which will get you to places that other vehicles could not. The driver was quite knowledgeable of the area and provided key information at appropriate times. He had a great personality and his ability to communicate with his tour riders was superb. Our favorite tour stop was Featherdale Wildlife Park where we got up real close to all the animals and had our picture taken with a koala bear. What a great tour!

Took a 4WD Blue Mt tour with Frontier. Sam, the guide was fantastic and took us to places only a 4WD can go. His knowledge of the area was superb and he knew just how much to tell us. If you want to go to where all the mass of humanity goes in large tour buses and long lines, do not use these guys. But if you want a small tour group, seeing the Blue Mts like no one else can do, Frontier is the way to go. Plus he took us to the neatest restaurant for lunch in the Mts, again, away from the maddening crowds, with delicious food.

They are really the way to go and you don't feel like a tourist, but a welcome guest. I will return with my family to tour with him and wholeheartedly recommend Frontier.

We booked this tour during our cruise and am so glad we did. Got to see a bit of Sydney and the outlying area before we went into the Blue mountains. We were a small group and the 4 Wheel drive vehicle was very comfortable even going over some very rough terrain. Our first stop was at the Featherdale Wildlife Park to experience the wildlife native to Australia up close and personal. We even got to take a picture with the Koalas and pet the Kangaroos. We then visited the Tamborine rainforest and walked the Skywalk kinda rough but we made it and glad we did. We then had the opportunity to take a short hike through a beautiful canyon all down hill thank goodness. Included in our tour was a visit to Sirromet winery where we drink some good wine and enjoyed some beautiful views also. Bought a Champagne opener, the first one I have ever seen. From there we went to a beautiful area where we enjoyed a nice barbequed lunch with wine and beer. Sam our guide who was absolutely the most knowledgeable person about this area that you could not help but know all about it when we got back to Sydney. He showed us how to throw the Boomerang and play the Dideridoo. Our next stop was the Blue Mountains where the beauty abounds. It is like our Grand Canyon and absolutely beautiful. There are three mountains they call the three sisters that has a story behind them that Sam Shared but you will need to take the tour to find out. I can't remember the entire story but would not do it justice if I tried. From there we did a little shopping at the small town and then back to Sydney. During out trip back Sam played some beautiful music and shared more information such as poems by famous artists etc. This tour is one of the best I have ever taken anywhere in the world and can
recommend it highly. You will not be disappointed.

Great tour. Knowledgable guide, lots of fun things to do. The animal sanctuary is great, you get right up close with the native critters. Lunch was great, included in price. Nice small tour compared to going on a big coach.

Excellent small group tour of the Blue Mountains. We had 9 people on a comfortable 4 wheel drive van. Sam is very informative and we enjoyed listening to his stories and demonstrations of the Boomerang and Dideridoo, We had the opportunity to go off the main road and take a short hike through a beautiful canyon. The barbeque lunch was excellent and in a perfect hilltop setting. I would highly recommend this tour.
