“A little bit of paradise”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Watson's Bay is a must-visit for all those going to Sydney. It's really easy to get to - just a ferry over from Circular Quay. There are nice eateries on the wharf - with both a pub, more expensive restaurant and a takeout on the wharf (fish and chips). Have visited both during the week and the weekend. Weekend was MUCH busier - you need to book a table at the restaurant then! We went for a walk round to Camp Bay which is a must-do. The little Bay is so picturesque and sheltered from winds etc! Overall, will definitely be going back - as soon as I get a day off!

Very nice place. Good beach, super park, Sydney view, the best fish and chips, amazing walk way. Can colourful parrots on the walkway very near. Lovely environments. Like to go again.

“Simply Stunning”

I love the varied locations at Watson's Bay. You can sit quietly on the cove beach where the sea is so calm and just enjoy the idyillic views. Brilliant coastal walks, Fabulous Fish & Chips at Doyle's. Also the Tearoom near the library serve excellent breakfasts amongst other things. Watson's Bay Hotel is the place to sit and sip cocktails and watch the sun go down and enjoy every last minute of your day. Buses run later than the Ferries so you can still get back to the city fairly easily.

It is a great ferry trip from Circular Quay, but also well served by buses. With Doyles and a great Tea Rooms, loads of walking choices, a great view of the Sydney skyline it is just wonderful.

“Incredible seascape”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

It's got very, very posh these days, but I don't care about anything except the Gap anyway. It's a great place to wander around, and stare out to sea. You can get a ferry to Manly these days, too.
