This beach is quite unique. Instead of having miles and miles if sand to walk on, the sand is contained in pretty much one area.

It's perfect for families with little children as well. Children would love this beach during school holidays as they will be able to keep themselves busy looking through the coral in the shallow waters.

There are lots of big, flat-surface rocks that people can lay on to tan, take photos, watch the waves from the other end, etc. It's quite a scenic beach and getting here wasn't all that bad either. We were able to find free parking nearby.

Such a great, relaxing beach to consider for next time.

Very nice beach to visit, especially if you are doing the coastal walk in Sydney from Bondi Beach. Small with clean sand, which makes it a nice place to escape to! Wonderful clear waters to paddle in - would go again! (Visited February 2011, but took 2 years to write a review - oops)

A nice safe area to teach children to snorkel. It is interesting under the water without being scary. Parking is a problem.

This is a strange place, by Sydney beach standards. The locals love it, but I call it the concrete beach, as it is surrounded, you guessed it, by concrete on both long sides. I do not know what the lifeguards do there, as it is enclosed. I know it is a great place to learn to swim and the snorkelling is suposed to be good, but I just don't get the attraction! Go to anywhere else, especially the northern beaches, if you want a real Sydney beach experience. Food at the cafe (at the end of the concrete!) is ok. Best thing is there are no timed parking fees.
