Beautiful Building with multiple levels of Great Shopping! The Basement has good sales and the upper levels have Top Designers to smaller Boutique Shops. Enjoy a coffee and pastry to catch your second wind! Clock in Center is interesting to see close up- details and design are fabulous to observe.

A nice building in the centre of Sydney that contains lots of upmarket shops seemingly aimed at the tourist market. You can see a clock that has a moving display, replicas of the crown jewels, and other strange things. At Christmas it usually has a large tree. A bit upmarket for my taste it is nice to walk through. The shops on the bottom floor(s) (read underground) are cheaper. There is also a large statue of Queen Victoria on the outside on the end nearest the Town Hall.

Historical venue and the kids will love the clock at the top of the building you must see it once it is mostly high range and boutique shopping but I love the cafes and coffee shops and the atmosphere. I am always sure to stop by when i am visiting. You you have never been it is a must see.

Originally there was an attempt to demolish this old building some years ago buy luckily it was saved and for nearly 30 years it has stood out as a classy but somewhat expensive shopping experience. It is full of high class shops and cafe's and it has a wonderful atmosphere. Well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch and do some people watching!
