I thought I would try this restaurant one more time, but what an error. The original waiting staff, all but gone and replaced by surly rude staff, the menu seems to be as was, but the quality and cooking has gone down hill, in my opinion. This was a bit like my school reports, minimal effort at times, great potential, good do better. Avoid this place unless on expenses or you find $50 in the street.

My husband and I we here for lunch on a Saturday. We love American style food and especially pulled pork etc. we were disappointed. Nothing very tasty or special and service was poor even though the restaurant only had a couple of tables in use. Wouldn't visit again.

“Not bad but wow how about more than 13 tiny fries with that?”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Pretty good. Went for lunch. Seating was comfortable and the menu had plenty of choice. Had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and some fries. Ah, 13 tiny fries to be exact. I thought potatoes were cheap? Apart from the lack of fries the food was nice. Would go back and try a few more things off the menu. hopefully more than those tiny, tiny portions of fries too. Management, you reading this??

“Overpriced Pub Food in Sydney”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

We did not especially enjoy our dinner at the Bridge St Garage. It was crowded, noisy and the food was expensive for pub food and not very good. We tried the pulled pork which was dry and served with hard chips/fries. We also had a caeser salad that was mediocre.

With so many choices, I would select another restaurant.

“Food was older than the waitress.”

Stale chips, chewy bread, salad missing the parmesan. All for the same price you would get high quality food for at Fratellis or Postales. If you want and awesome burger, go to the Menzies hotel restaurant..,.
