This hotel could not even be considered a hotel. Its dirty, old and outdated. The bed heads arent attached to the beds. The fan above the bed doesn't go fast enough to even blow air. No floor towel for the bathroom. Mould on the shower curtains. Burnt out power board. We ended up leaving because it was absolutely disgusting (and I've stayed in hostels so I know gross). They wouldn't return any money despite leaving 5 nights early. Absolutely disgusting with such poor customer service.

Booked for the wrong date and the lady working there (Stella) helped us out an insane amount, went out of her way to help us out to the best of her ability
If it wasn't for Stella my friends and I would've been screwed!! 10/10
Stella needs a promotion lol

There are 2 things positive about this place, location & chilled water dispenser. The entry hallway smells of the rubbish bin which is kept under stairwell. There is no air conditioning, rooms smell musty. The ensuite did not have shelf for shampoo , soap etc. can't sit on toilet comfortably as knees hit the wall.

This hotel is in a good location close to Darling Harbour, with easy access over a footbridge. Although the rooms are advertised as Darling Harbour view you can see the Harbour but mostly you see traffic on the converging main roads, but you cannot hear the traffic so it is peaceful at night. The rooms are a good size and nicely appointed with fridge and tea and coffee, and a desk and a comfortable chair. The airconditioning was controlled in the room so that it didn't need to be uncomfortably cold.Bed was comfortable with nice white sheets. The bathroom is good with a separate shower and enough counter space and good towels and amenities. Housekeeping was hit and miss. One day nothing was replaced, no tea bags, no water and no bathroom amenities and the bed was "tidied". The next day everything was replaced etc. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety and a separate corner for gluten free and it's own toaster! Good selection of hot food. Two coffee and hot water machines to avoid long queues for coffee etc. The young lady at breakfast reception was very pleasant. Check in and check out was reasonably quick and the receptionists friendly and efficient. It is fairly pricey but so is most accommodation in Sydney and is reasonable value for money considering it's location close to transport etc.

Fantastic location for Darling Habour. Would not recommend for families, is for single people or couples. 24 hour pub across the road. No issues or noise. The room itself was sufficient, located at the top of 4 x flights of stairs. No lift, stairs are narrow and steep.

Very basic communication, staff were polite and friendly. If you need parking, park at the Murray Street carpark, you can buy a ticket from hotel for $30 x cash. When you leave carpark, insert original ticket & then the purchased ticket & they cancel each other out. We were not told this and had to fumble our way through. Clear instructions from reception would have been welcomed.

Room is very basic, bathroom, fridge. No tea or coffee facilities, no air conditioning, no iron. Overhead fan & pedestal fan, was muggy, but not unpleasant.

Overall the main selling point is the location. Less than 5 minutes walk to Casino, we walked home at 1am and didn't feel unsafe or threatened. Less than 2 minute walk to Darling Harbour, location is unbeatable. Rooms are very basic, but clean and staff are friendly. Communal kitchen facilities and outdoor balcony. Hotel could be described as an upmarket backpackers hostel.
