Popped in for a cup of tea and a scone this afternoon during the wife's shopping day. A quaint little setting in the middle of Westfield, on the 4th floor. A large variety of teas and scones as well as other food. Something different in a large shopping centre.

I don't personally rate a "restaurant" in a shopping complex particularly one as large as Westfield Sydney, but this did have a nice cozy atmosphere except it was frightfully loud. The service left a little to be desired initially but the table service was exceptional and our tea was always filled. We loved the choices provided for us, as we all chose different flavoured scones.

Chicken, mustard, lemon, thyme, roasted almond & celery
Smoked salmon, rocket, lemon & capers
Cucumber & Dill Butter
Roast beef, horseradish cream & baby cress
Scones- choose from our Top Ten Scones (1 per person)
Salted Chocolate & Coconut Macaroon
Strawberry & Rhubarb Tartlet
Mini Rose Pannacotta with Persian Fairy Floss
Vanilla cupcake with fresh passionfruit topping

We arrived here for brunch and even though the menu wasn't particularly extensive we decided on the poached free range eggs with pancetta, roast tomato and house made polenta and corn loaf and what a terrific choice. Others have commented that the location is noisy but I didn't notice that perhaps because we arrived at 10am before all the shoppers. The wait staff were attentive and polite and it was so nice to have our tea and meal served in english bone china tea sets and we played ladies for 2 hours.

A cute little girly oasis in the middle of Westfields. While this is quite exposed and open you don't actually notice once you're inside. The picket fence and plantings give a feeling of intimacy. Friendly and efficient service although past mid meal the two times I've dined her I've had trouble attracting the attention of staff for further requests. Loved the tea and lavender scones. The high tea tower was nice but far from the best high tea offering I've experienced. Would return under the right circumstances.
