Close to the intersection of George And Bridge Lane, the Alleyway is not marked and hard to find. For Sydney, $120. Au. Is not bad for 4 for lunch. Tipping in Australia isn't the norm. If your service is really good at dinner, many leave only 10%. Tips are not usually expected.
We ordered several Dim Sum, Chicken and Eggplant, Beef with Mushrooms, Mr. Wong's Fried Rice and all was good.
The service was a little slow maybe because the place was packed during this holiday weekend.

Great Food, Good Service, Great Atmosphere and decor, surrounded by good bars for pre and post drinks. Just a shame they ran out of Duck last time :(

Booked an office lunch for 14. We were shown to a huge round table in the centre of the busy restaurant. We chose the banquet menu with a few additions and some wines to match. About $100 each for food and $50 for drinks etc. The food was high quality and plentiful. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Very happy customer.

Our second visit to Mr Wong's didn't disappoint. Our family went for my Father's birthday and it was a great meal with so many great dishes and a great buzzing atmosphere. The modern Asia cuisine is one of the best in Sydney accompanied with a large wine selection. Not to be missed if you are after "great Asian experience". Every dish from the slightly unusual but delicious pigs ears, beef tongue to succulent beef ribs, fried and steamed dumplings, crispy chicken, Balmain bugs and fried rice were outstanding.

We went on a Wednesday night and there were only 5 of us so we could not book, next time we will make sure there are six.
We found the seating process was a bit of pure theatre but we accepted a shared table and to sit on stools, to be fair the maitre'd did warn us but we would not do that again as they are quite uncomfortable and we noticed others also having a bit of a problem with them.
That takes care of the negatives, the service was excellent and the food was incredible. We also considered that it was good value for money as we had beer and cocktails and dessert and it was approximately $100 a head. There was not one dish that was disappointing. Our meal included drunken chicken and the scallops with tofu and the steamed dumplings are amazing. The desserts were also excellent.
We will definitely go again but with six so we can book and also ask for chairs not stools. The decor also makes this place worth a visit.
