“Great Food, Fantastic Service! But at a price....”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Food was perfect! Service was unbelievable!
The menu is extensive without being over the top. The staff are friendly, prompt and willing to assist, but know to leave you alone as well. Only thing holding back the extra Trip Advisor circle was the price. Highly recommended though!

“Very Nice...will be back”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Not sure what to expect with food, but knew as with all Merivale establishments that the decor would be amazing. Both didn't disappoint. Half of the experience is in the ambience and that there was! We booked a table of 5 on a busy night, were seated immediately and ordered with some suggestions from our waiter for the night. Every dish was lovely and we enjoyed the evening! A little on the expensive side but then most places that have put so much into their decor and setup will have to charge more...it makes sense.

“Fantastic Duck Pancakes”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

My partner and I love this restaurant - especially the duck pancakes and the pork belly! It's quite expensive for the size of the portions, but great quality food and service.

“FABULOUS”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Having booked a Sunday Lunch for my wife's birthday several weeks in advance, we were looking forward to the day very much and weren't disappointed. It was my third visit to the restaurant and the first time I had been able to make a booking. I could not fault any aspect of the meal from food to service to table location to atmosphere. Having been burnt by so many sub standard chinese meals, it was a real pleasure to enjoy a fresh, flavoursome meal. We ate Dim Sum, Crab, Duck, Chicken, Beef and the best fried rice and fried ice cream on the planet. Will we back, as soon as we can find a reason to return. A big thumbs up to all at Mr Wong.

“Amazing food”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

I have been wanting to go to mr wongs for some time , it didnt disappoint. A shame you can't book if less than 6 people for dinner but enjoyed a ore dinner drink downstairs whilst we waited, and the food was well worth the wait! The dim sum and duck pancakes were amazing but the salt and pepper lamb cutlets were incredible!
