but I was a bit dissapointed when I had the 6 pie gourmet selection and chips ($20).

Some pies just weren't good enough. Italian Sausage, mince and Vegetable Korma pies - I'm looking at you - but I blame myself.

I should have been more commital like my girlfriend - her shredded pork pie was divine as was my beef brisket sample pie - OMG I could live on those for the rest of my life.

The sweet pies here are amazing. After sharing the cherry pie and the malteser pie with my partner we had to go back for more and have the mississippi mud pie. Then followed it off with a shredded pork, apple and gravy savory pie for dessert. We have just come back from the USA and the pies here are better then over there. The place is a few Kms out of the city but worth the trip and was the highlight of our trip to Sydney.

The pie tin - has cheap quality meals, quick service however parking is terrible and there is not much seating but they do take away! the dessert pies are to die for, they make this place worth going to.

" The track ", being king st. Newtown . This place is quiet ( love it ) and yet in the middle of Crazy town - Newtown . Cnr of brown lane & brown st . It gets busy on the weekends with the " brunch herd " , but other wise is good . It has a wide selection of fab pies and cakes all of which are made on the premises . The coffee is pretty good too .

Everything about this place is quality - big servings of pies, sides and sweets all pretty good value for money too.

We have been here quite a few times.. A good deal is the pie and 2 sides - with a choice of numerous salads, mashes, chips or homestyle beans. The pies are old school - excellent pastry, chunky and generous fillings and flavoursome. The pie tasting platter is a fun option too. Plenty of variety on offer beef brisket, Moroccan chicken, pork, lamb and steak.

Don't forget to leave room for dessert - with an impressive selection of cakes and pies including the biggest apple pie I have ever seen. The snickers pie is fabulous.

The pie tin is licensed too, offering beer and cider with your pies including local brews. There's also plenty of other beverages on offer milkshakes, teas, coffees and cool drinks.

This place is definitely worth checking out if you have a hankering for a decent pie.
