Visited Madame Tussauds with husband & 13yo son in tow. Always wanted to visit. My son....well wasn't so thrilled but once we got inside and he saw the statues and got to pose with them, he was hooked.

The wax works are soooo lifelike and very remarkable. Some better than others but just great. You can take photos with all of them & dress the part too. It was great fun.

You got to learn how they make them also. Interesting stuff. The surprising factor was the sizes of people. Everyone "looks taller on TV" :)

I visited Madame Tussauds last weekend and really enjoyed our visit. I have been to the one in London before and the "people" are all roped off but not in Sydney. It is extremely interactive and you can get up and close even climb on the figures (as we saw some kids doing!) You can touch them and get up really close to get photos. We got some excellent shots. There is a lot to see and read in here so give yourself at least a couple of hours. I would hightly recommend a visit to Madame Tussauds in Sydney, they have done a really great job in putting this together. The only thing I would suggest they look at is the price, $38 for an adult to visit is a little pricey but you may be able to get a coupon or discount voucher online. For a fun day out though I would highly recommend this attraction.

It could detract if its too busy, but we had heaps of fun, lots off dressing up and acting. Charge your camera for lots of photos, leave time to take lots of video clips. Put on your outgoing acting shoes because you can have lots of interaction and fun with the family here. You could stay longer if you have the energy but for money value this is not just a walk through you have to spend the time and enjoy. Note: phone for which parking garages give a flat rate and validate your ticket otherwise you'll be paying too much for parking. Otherwise go by bus or train. If you're doing lots then get the multipass to aquarium etc, but plan out the activities otherwise it's a waste. All the attractions are not cheap.
Note: There is nowhere to eat inside here.

Had a great time here, the statues were so life like. The staff take photos for you with a few displays but they are more than happy for you to take your own pictures. Staff were all really nice. I went on a Saturday after lunch and it wasn't at all crowded. It's great fun.

brought a merlin pass which allows you to visit numerous places so as the wax museum was part of it gave it a go. was very surprised how interactive it was allowing you and kids to dress in props and get great photos with the wax models took just on 2 hours to get around. great fun
