My husband and I have stayed here on a few occasions and have always had a very pleasant stay. We had a one night stay on Easter Sunday in a deluxe king room. The room, on the 9th floor, was quiet and clean and what you would expect for a cheap rate. I find the bathrooms in this hotel to be exceptionally good. They are spacious, with a gorgeous deep bath tub and plenty of vanity space. The shower is big with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and the pillows too. The room was on the smallish side and I wouldn't recommend for a stay of longer than a couple of days, but for an overnight stay it is perfectly fine. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring The Rocks and the harbour, with plenty of restaurants choices close by. It is close to both Wynyard and Circular Quay train stations, although the walk from Circular Quay is uphill, so wouldn't be ideal with suitcases. They do a great seafood buffet on Saturday nights, well worth a try. We have previously used the valet parking service at this hotel, however noticed the price of this had increased to $52, so we self parked (still $42 for the night). Upon check out, you are given a parking ticket to exit the car park, however they omitted to tell us that we first had to insert the ticket we were issued upon entering the car park. A simple thing that became quite annoying when it took us 10 mins and a bell boy to get us out of the car park. Otherwise, another enjoyable stay in a great part of Sydney.

Room Tip: Try and ask for a room away from the lifts on the higher floors.

Check runs smoothly and everyone is friendly. The hotel itself is very modern but I cannot express how fantastic the location is. You are literally 10 mins walk or less to circular quay and 2 minutes walk to wynyard station which runs to the domestic and international stations as well as central and town hall. Staff are most helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

We were joining our friends to see a concert in the city and they suggested we stay overnight at the Amora Jamison as it was a place they liked very much.

We booked a night here and looked forward to it staying here although the trip advisor ranking was only reasonable at 55 of 182.

On arrival we were told we had been upgraded and on entering the room we were impressed particularly by the bathroom which was extremely modern and had extensive views as well as a lovely modern bath.

The room itself was as expected, just a nice hotel room. Nothing particularly outstanding but very good all the same.

The highlight of the hotel to me was the pool area. The pool was nice but there also was a hot spa, a sauna and a steam room. Rarely do I find a city hotel which has all these amentities and I find most don't even have a spa.

The bar area is elegant and a lovely place to meet for a drink both before and after going out for the night.

We had room service and this was of good quality as was the breakfast which we found very tasty with the usual broad selection one comes to expect at a good hotel.

The service too within the hotel was very friendly.

We have stayed at some very nice hotels in the city and the Amore Jamison compares favourably with them all. We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed here for the weekend, booked on last minute "surprise" hotel. I'd stayed before a few years back so was happy with the surprise. But we ended up in a room that I think was handicap as it had an odd shower where there was no real screen. Next morning breakfast, food was very thin on the ground, we had to wait some time for eggs and the bread was all gone, generally not impressive for a buffet breakfast. The table next to us walked out after waiting for eggs for so long. Of course it was a sunday morning and busy late, but its not a new phenomena that everyone goes to breakfast late on a sunday morning.

I have stayed at lots of Sydney hotels and this one is one of the good ones for business. Rooms, service, location are all continually excellent. This is now the first hotel I look to go to when visiting Sydney.

Room Tip: I have not had a bad room yet, so there are no real downside to this place

Room was neat & tidy, tv is a little on the small side, but that would be the only complaint, spa was sooo hot, couldnt rave on about it enough, no city noise, parking expensive but normal, breakie great

My first stay at a five star hotel, not sure what the difference is other than fancy fittings. The room is no bigger, the bathroom is big but really how much time do you spend in a bathroom. As other reviewers have said, the TV is in a really funny spot, inside the cupboard so you have to sit or lie at an angle to watch it, it does pull out abit, but not enough to be comfortable. Get rid of the picture on the wall and put a flat screen there, Great views from window but abit of street noise does filter through. Pleasant stay but not worth the money, thank god I got it on a mystery deal.
