“Over priced miserly portions”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

If this is where the trendoids of Darlinghurst hang for breakfast then I'm glad I'm not one of them. Over priced, miserly portions, quality as good as a Travelodge hotel (though there you can go back for seconds), bitter coffee and fruit juices from a bottle.
Surely there's somewhere else that does a decent breakfast on Victoria St where you don't have to pretend to be part of the cool crowd who are having the wool pulled over their eyes?

“Great find in Darlinghurst!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

This great little cafe oozes character. Colourful & cosy, you can sit on or facing the footpath and watch the interesting Darlo wildlife go by! I had breakfast here (yummy porridge with rhubarb which they happily made dairy free on request) & a great latte. Will be back on our next Sydney visit.

Great location, good food and a great atmosphere with outdoor seating. Always a winner, especially during the summer.

“Great breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

Found this gem while staying near Kings Cross and chose to eat inside as it was still a little cool outside at breakfast time. Cosy couches, good service and excellent coffee, plus free internet access.
Cereal, yoghurt & fruit were so good - very fresh & filling. Egg on toast was nice, only down side was not enough toast! It wasn't open in the evening, which is a shame as the ambience was great -we had breakfast there three out of four days of our stay.

“Great choice for weekend brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

We had a Saturday brunch here while staying in nearby Paddington. It's small, but the staff are great at finding you a table, and the service was very attentive the whole time we were there.

They clearly pay attention to the quality of their coffee, and there were a lot of good-looking choices on the menu. One of our group had the porridge, another had a smoked trout and scrambled egg roll, and I had the poached eggs and homemade baked beans. We all enjoyed our meals - not a single complaint between us. The location was also great for people watching, as the street is popular for weekend shopping.

I'll be back next time I'm in Sydney.
