My wife and I wanted a quick meal before the opera, and stumbled across this restaurant at The Rocks. Although we had no table reservation we were quickly seated and assured we would be served in plenty of time for our show. We received a warm welcome and friendly efficient service in a pleasant atmosphere. No sooner had we ordered than we received a complimentary appetiser of Sicilian olives, bread and olive oil for dipping. Our margherita pizza had a thin base that was a bit soft for my taste and authentic toppings of tomato, cheese and basel. The fettucine was first class and built around house-made pasta. We wound up with a good quality lemon sorbet. Complementary biscotti came with the bill and we were out the door as promised, in plenty of time for the show. The wine list was limited but we found wines to our liking by the glass. Prices were on the high side, but on a par with other restaurants in this pricey part of Sydney.
