“Friendship and cash”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

The main garden in the Chinese Garden of Friendship is a pay per entry garden locked down behind a tall wall. You can see through the wall from the outside and the garden itself seems quite small.

The upside of the whole adventure is that the garden is sandwiched between China town and Darling Harbour, both of which offer hours of browsing and entertainment of all kinds for whatever you are willing to pay.

“Peaceful, Beautiful Garden”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Established about 25 years ago, these Chinese Gardens are a welcomed sanctuary from the CBD hustle. The many traditional elements built into the design really make it a tranquil and relaxing space. Take your time, enjoy the many nooks and features, and you will be recharged. Take a book and relax, and relax in the tea gardens. Recommended for a recharging experience.

“Lovely”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We stumbled upon this purely by accident and decided to go in on a whim. So glad we did, it was $6 to get in, but wow it is simply breath taking, We saw a lizard of some type which we figured was fake but nope that was real.
Perfect place to just take a deep breath and have a wee wander and time will seemingly stand still.
Check out the koi's and the awesome waterfalls.
Highly recommend
