This hotel is cheap and tidy close to darling harbor and other facilities.
Would recommend as a place to lay your hat.
Staff are friendly and courteous.
Had trouble with the parking across the road not their fault.

Great location just minutes walk to Darling Harbour close to Coles and restaurants. Rooms are very old and I found bags of opened food left in some of the draws but for the price and location I'd stay again. TV didn't work but there was a nice guy at the Reception who changed rooms for me.

I was looking for reasonable accommodation close to the Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. Couldn't get any more convenient. Literally 3 mins away. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean but had a musty smell to it- Left my door open, fixed the problem. Both shower and toilet was outside in the stairwell which didn't present a problem. Does not have air con(fan provided) so probably not pleasant in the summer. A continental breakfast was available in the dining room for a very modest charge. For the location, the price was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room at the rear, away from main road.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean bed & good shower, all for a very reasonable price. Close to public transport (light rail - Convention Center stop) and proximity to Darling Harbour. Good breakfast in their courtyard. We will certainly stay here on our next trip to Sydney.

We had a great stay at Woolbrokers in Sydney. My husband and I often choose simple, cheap, no frills accommodation – as long as we have a private room and a private bathroom and the place is safe that’s pretty much all we require in our accommodation as we don’t spend a lot of time in the hotel at all on our trips – it’s literally just somewhere to store our belongings and sleep! This place fit the bill perfectly and I would stay here again if I ever returned to Sydney. There are dorm rooms at this hotel and rooms with shared bathrooms but we booked a private room with a private bathroom. It had air conditioning, a TV, a hairdryer and a fridge. It was basic – it wasn’t “fancy” or modern so to speak – but it was clean and had everything we needed. When there was a problem with a plumbing noise coming from another room that kept us awake one night the staff didn’t hesitate to get a plumber out to fix the problem immediately and refunded us for one night because the noise had woken us up. The staff are amazing – they couldn’t do enough to rectify the problem and help us – everything from getting up at 3am to offer to change us rooms, giving us a bottle of wine to say sorry for the inconvenience and helping us plan our routes to attractions and places we were going each day. I loved this hotel and would recommend it in a heartbeat. It was also such good value for money - for the excellent location (5 min walk from Darling Harbour) it was one of the cheapest accommodations we found in Sydney - saving us plenty of money to spend on actually enjoying our holiday and seeing and doing things rather than paying extortionate prices in other hotels.

Room Tip: Private rooms with private bathrooms available
