If you're after diversity and always something different to observe, then Newtown is the place to visit. Newtown has become quite a trendy inner western suburb, with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and many clothing and 'old wares' shops.

Definitely Sydney's funkiest suburb. Pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, fashion............. to many to list, but stroll down King Street any day of the week for a look at the greatest melting pot in Sydney. Spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon shopping, eating & drinking, and so close to the city.

Found INTOUCH Massage in Camperdown online. Brilliant site so decided to give it a go. The therapist, Alan, was outstanding. He straightened my posture, aching shoulders and lower back and I felt a million dollars when i left. He finished the massage off with a coffee and cake. Amazing service and I will be going back. Thanks Alan

I've visited Newtown many times and it a great location to visit. One of the longest stretches of Victorian architecture fronts King St. The array of shops, bars, restaurants, vintage/retro is mind boggling. You can find virtually anything here. The locals are relaxed, cool and a bit alternative. A great place for people watching. If coming from the Sydney CBD there are numerous bus options and the train stops right in the heart of Newtown.
