“First pillar gives you great views and is cheap to do.”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

For less than $15 you can climb the first pillar of the bridge. This gives you great views of the harbor, opera house, and city.

Skip the $200+ bridge walk and do this instead. Great value for the money.

Must be in shape to walk stairs!

“Definitely a highlight!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

You can pick from Day, Dawn, Twilight or Night - all at different prices (available on their website). We did the Dawn climb and it was definitely a highlight watching the sun climb over the horizon, even with a few clouds around. No need to worry about protective clothing as they supply everything you could possibly need - including overalls, headgear, headlamp, gloves, extra wind and rainproof trousers and jacket (to put over the overalls). You can just turn up in T-shirt and shorts for any of the climbs and they'll outfit you according to the time of day and weather (their 24/7 weather recordings even include wind-chill factor at the top, and they will dress you accordingly). Everything you need is hooked onto your belt, and your belt is then hooked onto a rail that that follows the mostly quite low-trajectory steps right to the top and back down again (there are a few ladders that are quite steep, but they're not long or difficult to climb up or down, and the handrails are very reassuring and helpful). Average fitness only required - and you don't even need a head for heights as you don't have to look down! They even provide lockers for your valuables as you can't take anything up with you in case it falls down to the roadway below (glasses are the only exception - and they provide tie-downs to keep them on your head). Experienced and friendly guides take any photo you like and you can select what you want to purchase when you're back downstairs.

“Best View Around!!!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

The bridge climb was a unique experience but I am so happy we did the express climb. Once you get to the top and look around I was ready to then come back down. The constant chatter in my ear on the headset by the tour guide was so distracting from the view. I also did not like the required staged photos at certain points of the climb. Yes, I know you are gonna try to sell them to me at the end? Shock!!!!
The price to climb the bridge was way over the top!!!!!!

“Not as hard as you might think!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Allow several hours to do this. It is a very slick and professional outfit. The guides are very helpful and knowledgeable about the Bridge, history and surrounding area.
Overalls are provided and footwear if you haven't arrived prepared. Great views over the harbour.
Another superb day in Sydney.
