A great experience worth the money as a one-off special event. I did the bridge climb for my birthday and enjoyed every moment.

“On Top of the World Down-under”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Climbing the Sydney Harbor Bridge is a fun, exciting adventure that has the thrill with a lot of safety built into it. There are 1,390 stairs but you have breaks in-between. It takes about an hour for the prep: changing into the jumpsuits, getting all the equipment, they give you a baseball cap that you may keep, and practicing the ladders before you hook up and step out onto the catwalk. Along the way our guide gave us a great tour of Sydney. When you reach the top of the bridge it is time to celebrate.
Pictures are taken but you cannot bring a camera with you. My husband did get some pictures of me from the pylon.

“Worth going all the way to Australia for”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

I had booked this climb over a year ago,and my anxiety had been growing ever since.
Was I to fat one unfit to do the climb?
Was I a bit to old, 60?
But when I got there, no problems as they say.
A slight squeeze around some of the metalwork was mildly awkward but that was all.
The climb on top was gentle and fell very safe.
The Jews from the top did not disappoint in any way.
No, you cannot take you're own cameras, but the guide takes several which you can take away on a a thumb drive, buy not cheap.
This should be a bucket list experience for every body.

“Bucket List Must Do!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

The bridge climb is a "must do" experience. Just amazing. My sister and I have been talking about climbing the bridge for a few years and have let many opportunities go by,so when she turned 50 recently I gave her a gift voucher for a bridge climb. We are not the most athletic types, not fit, and comfortably overweight so we were a little apprehensive about how we would manage this climb. We are not afraid of heights, but were concerned that maybe we would not have the stamina to complete the climb. How wrong we were. At no time during the day did we feel we should not be here. The staff were amazing, the whole experience is so organised and safety is number one, and that feeling when you reach the summit is worth the whole thing. We are now planning for this to be a annual thing and want to try the sunrise and sunset climbs. If you are wanting to do the climb and not sure whether or not you could do it, talk to the staff they are just so helpful. You CAN do it and you will love it!!
