“worth the bus trip or ferry trip to Watsons Bay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

I love this little beach. It is one of the few harbour beaches that still feels local. It is a bit of a walk from Watsons Bay but I highly recommend it.

“A pretty little place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

In the early days of Sydney was simply a fishing village and somehow has retained that small, intimate quality. It is a little harbour beach that is close to The Heads.

“Nice spot, good for parents with small children, good for lap swimming.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

Best visited during the week as it gets quite busy on the weekend. Very little swell and not too deep in parts, so good for parents with kids, but does get very crowded in summer.
Working in the area I pop down for a few laps after work and as you are a bit further out there isnt really much to bother you and no kids in the way. Beach is probably 400 odd meters long so it's a decent workout. Worth a look if you are in the area.

“relaxing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

it is small and friendly. it is very expensive real estate there and it's fun to look at the houses right near the beach. it isn't a surf beach and i like the gentle waves. there is a shark net

“Gets packed but still great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

Gets busy, so you need to get there early enough to get parking and a good spot - but all in all a great place to enjoy some sun.
