“Historic Site”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Best visited during the week if you can and at sunset or after to see the lights of the Harbour. (Can't see the Opera House but can see the top of the Harbour Bridge)

“You may see more than you expected!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Can you imagine a more glorious sweing than this semi-isolated golden-sand beach with drop-dead gorgeous views of Sydney Harbour? It's not easy to get to, but it's worth the trek. The gays seem to have appropriated it to themselves, but everyone loves the peace, the serenity, and the water's not half bad, either.

“Camp cove”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Camp cove is a wonderful little piece of paradise in a secluded spot. Its has a great little beach (about 150 mtrs long) great for swimming and taking the kids. Snorkelling is best n the northern side and has a great walk past the nudist beach (lady Jane) towards the historical light house and cannon turrets that were built to defend the entry to the harbour during WW2. The only draw back is that its impossible to find parking in summer on the weekends. Its best to catch the bus and walk from the Watson's bay pub.

“National Park Houses”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Sydney National Parks have two houses at Camp Cove. They can be rented for short periods. The houses are both fairly basic but the location makes up for that. Camp Cove is a wonderful area to explore.

“Camp Cove - Okay for the view”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

Camp Cove is a tiny beach, Ok to swim at in summer but not rate-worthy as Aussie beaches go. There is a great walk on the Eastern side which takes you up around the headland, gives great views back to the city and to the north. Historic information is minimal but adequate. Parking is generally horrible so get there early or take a picnic as there is nowhere decent or reasonable to eat locally.
